I might have missed something but the way i have done things in my network to keep everything nice and non-confusing is this.
Firewall - 192.168.1.1
Router 1 - 192.168.1.2
Router 2 (wireless) - 192.168.1.3

I turned off DHCP on both routers and changed settings making them act as routers, and not gateways. This allows all the computers to just be connected by the routers, nothing else. I have the firewall do DHCP and everything else. This way, by making the routers NOT gateways, I only have to manage port forwarding in the firewall, not having to do multiple forwards between devices.

Linksys Router- 192.168.1.1
Netgear Router- 192.168.0.250
The routers have got 2(two) IP addresses.
The Linksys has got one internal (For your LAN with the server laptop. That's probably the 192.168.1.1), and one external(Probably 192.168.0.???. Observe the zero.), probably obtained through dhcp from the Netgear firewall.
The netgear firewall should route to 192.168.0.???, and not 192.168.1.1.
