Ways of remembering to get card out of reader...

-Today, go to work. Took Axim with me.
-Work break, pull out Axim for some movies.
-Compatflash slot empty.
-

Any remedy to prevent this problem from happening again?

Perhaps a post-it note on your ax with "Remember CF!!!!!" Low tech, but it should work ;)

Superglue. Then you don't have to EVER worry about not having it!

Either that or get a pouch or bag to keep your gear in and make a habit of taking it along.

Get a big piece of metal, paint it bright yellow and shove it into the cf slot when you take your card out. That way you will always know when your cf is not in your Axim and it will help not to forget.

Tie a string between the cf card and your axim. That way you can't grab the axim without grabbing the cf card....

Pebu, that is exactly what I do to remember to take it. I have a little loop thing installed on the edge of my end of the card, I glued it there, it makes the cf card kinda funny looking, but it helps me remember to take my card with me. It's only with the cf card I put movies and music on, though :P
