I like iPaqs but my first one from Best Buy kept freezing up on me and all i ever put in it was contacts and notes. I didn't set up e-mail, I had no additional apps, i mean it was basically bare and it finally died on me. Resets wouldn't work, powering on with the power adapter didn't work, I even had someone at Best Buy take a look at it and he couldn't turn it on. Finally turned to a Toshiba e310 and now my wife has it since I got the Axim.

Cradle?

Go to the normal HP web site and click on the left side on "government & education".

You had a good point Super. I call HP customer service and the rep said all ipaqs come with the cradle and sync cable. Does anybody know any different?

I considered the iPaq 2210. Too bad I found the deal after my Axim was already on order.

At any rate, I was confused and I called the educational sales dept. and they told me that it came with an AC charger, but no cradle or sync cable. Doesn't make much sense to sell a PDA without a cradle or synch cable.

I hope you get one with yours.

I'm thinking the person was blowing smoke. People on here have now gotten there and posted pics that you get the full blown retail package ... just comes in a brown box instead of the nice flashy retail box.

Other than that, they're identical. The extras are just extras.

So $267 out the door if you don't have tax for an Axim killer.

What do you mean by $267?

The 2210 is showing for $294 on the college students' page...

Some can get it for $267, if they qualify, on state contracts.

I got mine for $294.

Still a deal. I love it. Mine just came today.

Can you please explain more about the state contract discount?

Calling that salesman would get you the $267 price, but you still need to pay taxes. Oh, wait! My friend has a tax exempt card. AWESOME! Ordering mine tomorrow!
