1964 Nash Rambler -- present from my Dad when I graduated from High School in 1971. He paid $300 for the car.
1972 Ford Courier -- I sold my car to a neighbor for $600 after fixing it up a little, and drove my Dad's small pickup.
1974 Ford Mustang -- the first new car I ever bought. I financed just to get a credit history. 24 month car loan, payments $57 a month.
1976 Mercury Capri -- out of college and in the Army now, my brother sold the Mustang for me and arranged this purchase when I came home from Korea. The last time I made a major financial decision based on what my brother said. This is beyond a doubt the worst car I ever owned. There was ALWAYS something wrong,
1978 Plymouth Horizon -- great little car. My wife drove it after we got a ...
1981 Plymouth Reliant (K Car).
1984 Volkswagen Vanagon -- sold the other vehicle when I went to Germany in 1987. Who takes a German car back to Germany? well, I used to laugh at the people with American cars trying to pass the mandatory safety inspections ... they knew mine was okay. Would run 88 mph flat out on the autobahn.
1988 Saab 9000S -- with a trip to Sweden courtesy of Diplomat Sales. Had features lots of cars still don't have today. Top speed was 127 mph -- I used to set my cruise control on 105 mph on the autobahn. Low volume foreign car was hard and expensive to maintain back in the US. Was totaled in 1995 when a guy in a pickup ran a red light and hit my son and his friend. (both unscratched).
1988 Ford Taurus -- (used) sold the Vanagon in 1992 and bought this from my Dad. We drove this until 2003. Had about 120k miles.
1995 Ford Explorer -- I put 90,000 miles (how I'm not sure) on this in 3 years
1998 Toyota RAV 4 -- how I discovered I'm not a fan of leasing
2000 Toyota Camry -- still driving this
2003 Honda CRV -- my wife's vehicle, replacing the Taurus.
1995 Ford F150 -- my Dad's, who passed away in 2005. When you need it, you can't beat having a truck.
2006 BMW 325xi -- visit E90post.com to glimpse the passion :approve: ... and I can exercise my inner speed demon again.
MB's, MBW's, VW's, and Volvo's, many of each.
Put 375,000 mi on a 300D Turbo Diesel, great automobile.
Sold it and that '85 keeps on runnin' for the new owner but, likes a
block heater in the winter.
Currently Benz sedan, 320E - A highway cruiser for sure!
VW Jetta GLI - Very nice auto! :approve:
Might add, a friend has two Jag's, XK140's (or something), old ones.
One black and one white. White one was in a Charlie perfume commercial.
Black one was in the Odessa Files. He has a movie agent for his two "loves."

Those are the ones I can remember. And dpritchett, on the comment about the mercury capri, I agree my dad's friend had one and he got so sick of it he re-arranged the letters on the back so it read "crapi" It was hilarious, my dad still has an old photo of it

I actually didn't own my own car from 1992 until 2005. I drove lots of Pontiac cars, like Grand Ams, Bonneviles and Grand Prixs. Loved them all. But the Caddy is my favorite. it's the 2nd smallest caddy, it's gets as good mileage as the CRV, about 21 mpg average, and it flies. It's the last year of front wheel drive, plus it's totally loaded.
I loved the GMC Envoy, but the mileage was horrible and gas was getting way up there. Plus, I traded it in and got a great deal on the caddy and ended up saving a ton of money b/c it was winter and the 4 wheel drive was in demand.
1984 Nissan (Datsun) Sentra (1989-1996)...the death mobile and money pit..
1990 Nissan 240SX SE Fastback (1996-2006)....nice psuedo red sports car.
2006 Acura TL (2006 to present). This sweet ride is for the tech geek in me in lovely nighthawk black pearl.
Nice to sit and think back. Almost forgot some of them.
