Contestants for the "No S*** , Sherlock" award

Let's collect about a dozen of these stories and we can vote for a winner.

First Contestant, a sucker that just found out that mail-order European brides might have other plans...

http://www.local6.com/news/10887793/detail.html

Quote:
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man who was once taken advantage of by a woman he met online has a warning for anyone who turns to the Internet for dating or looking for a mail-order bride, according to a WJXT-TV report.

Two years ago, Anthony Penoso said his fiancé was supposed to fly into Jacksonville for their marriage.

"My fiancé, who was an eastern European model, used my credentials with immigration to procure a visa and didn't show up for our wedding," Penoso said. "She never showed up. She never called, and it was only later that I found she showed up in Beverly Hills via LAX."
I'm thinking that 'model' is a euphamism for 'stripper'

And the guy wrote a book about it. Maybe I can write a book called, "How not to get stuck at red lights all day."

At least he got his $35,000 engagement ring back. Sounds like this guy has more money than sense. Who, in their right mind, is gonna send a $35k ring to someone they've never met???

Man loses $32,000 he gave a psychic to bless

Quote:
The strange case began when Manuel Lanaverde, 29, of Arcadia heard ads the psychic ran on two local radio stations, promising she could change your luck. He telephoned her then met with her at her residence, 3200 51st Ave. Drive East, telling her his construction business was not making money.

"The psychic advised him that if he brought her a large amount of money she could bless it and that would make his business prosper," the sheriff's office said. "The victim then brought her $32,000 in cash to her residence and had her bless the money."

She then told the victim to come back tomorrow to pick up the money because it would take a full day to bless the money.

The next day the victim went back to the psychic residence and she was not there.
ha hahahah hehe hahahahahahahahhahahahahah

No wonder his business wasn't making money, he is an idiot.

His business was doing poorly, yet he was able to come up with $32,000 cash?

He probably had most of it as down payments for construction projects...
