HD44780 LCD with OLED backlight help
I have a 24x2 HD44780 LCD that I'm going to use for a homemade router. I have already figured out how to power the OLED backlight, but there's a problem. The OLED will come on whenever the system is running. I want the OLED to not turn on until the control software starts and preferably allow it to be dimmed by the software. The software is lcd4linux 0.9.11 for ClarkConnect. Any suggestions?
BTW, while designing the power supply for the OLED, it seems to glow green at low frequencies and blue at high frequencies. Why is that?

If I was VirtualBox, I could load my virtualization module into Hannah and boot up another kernel in the same address space.
