Vista, Windows Mobile Device Center and Outlook

I recently get an error message whenever I open Outlook. "A program is trying to access email addresses you have stored in Outlook..." . The message pops up when Outlook opens and the message will not dissappear no matter what option I choose. To stop this error message, I have to close Outlook via Ctrl/Alt/Delete. The message reappears as soon as I open Outlook again. This makes Outlook nonfunctional
I have a new Dell laptop running Vista and I installed the Microsoft Outlook 2002 that was bundled with my AximX51.
I also install the Windows Mobile Device Center.
Is this a Vista bug, an Outlook or device center problem or something of my own doing?
Any help appreciated

Wouldn't know if this is a Vista 'bug' however, lots of early problems with
Vista compatibility in todays news.

Seems Vista is not working with downloads, games, a number of programs.
Also noted was Vista clashing with some printers.

Oh my! What else is new with MS?

Yeah, I worried about Vista but went with it anyway.
I was betting the Outlook problem wasn't Vista related. I figured Microsoft would have at least ironed out compatibility issues between thier own products prior to Vista's release.
Still the problem could be somewhere else.

Pre Outlook 2007 and Vista

FSMan were you able to get it to work?

I am under the impression that you cannot use an older version of outlook with Vista in order to sync your contacts and calendar. Is that correct?

I have outlook 2000, Axim x50v running 2003se and Vista Premium. I can sync my media but my outlook 2000 does not work on Vista and I don't think think you can sync the calendar and contact that comes with Vista.

Never get a new OS. till it's been on the market over a year. By then the most common bugs should be solved!
