got webcam - now what?

OK, I got this new HP laptop (totaly rocks) :approve: which happens to have a built in Webcam. There is a driver installed for the webcam, but I am unable to locate any software on the laptop to make use of it.

So do I go out to the Internet and get webcam software (freeware)?

My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6000 with Vista

Any suggestions?

I figured out how to get MSN messenger to use my webcam - sort of. I can go into the settings and see it work.

I guess I was assuming I could record with the webcam and save the video.

You can record web cam video with Windows Movie Maker free from MS

cool - thanks.

I did some more searching and found 2 pieces of default software on my laptop that will work with the webcam. It wasn't obvious at first.
