Can't get bluetooth to connect with Axim x51v.

Basically I do like the tutorial says and run activesync. Go to the menu and say connect with bluetooth, go through that until i have to enter a pass, which I do, and then my mac won't confirm the pass and the connection fails. Any ideas?

Okay, well I've gotten past that part of the process and now I'm able to confirm with the number, the only problem is now I get stuck at the part where I'm supposed to choose activesync. The only check box I have is for services is for serial port. This is majorly disappointing.

Aximsitebluetoothicon Assuming that you're using Missing Sync...

I had the same problem you did (ActiveSync was not on the list of services). I went to the Missing Sync support page and found the following article http://www.markspace.com/support/kb....d_id=2&id=2728

Step 7 worked for me. Good luck.

Well, at least you did not have to go to 9 (hard reset). That would be a real bummer.

Not necessarily bad if your Ax is not working correctly but bad if all you wanted to do was to clear a minor glitch. Hard re-set = Factory settings, i.e. no installed programs.

Depress the reset button on the back of the ax with stylus, while simultaenously pressing the power button on the top front centre of your ax. NB; If there is anything on ax that you do not want to lose use the backup utility start/programs/backup to save at least your PIM, contacts, calender, tasks. Which you can restore after HS
