See my major post on the history of my battles with this problme and one unique solution that I came up with.
My solutions
Dont' feel bad. I did the same thing but with memmaid. I then went to look for some registry entries that I could download and double click to get those entry's back. I found nothing and had to HARD RESET.
Memmaid should come out with a new version where It backups all you events before you delet them and a simple tutorial about what is definitely NOT SAFE to delete for example repllog.exe - and that it is OK and NORMAL for there to be duplicates of repllog.exe - meaning it is NOT SAFE to delete any of the dup's!
also,
A safe to delete mode which excludes all the standard system events such as repllog.exe - and and Advanced or Expert mode which lets you do whatever you want.
Also, in memmaid a tab that lists ALL REOCCURING apointments which I believe are the main culprit, but not only, cause of this problem.
Last but not least this is NOT A DELL problem. It effects many brands of WM5 pocket pc's. I think it is much worse in WM5 but it is not new and is just one more example of microsoft's junk. They never were as good as palm but were able to prosper with HP's help and the windows monopoly.
