BASIC interpreter on Axin?

I have time on my hands as a midnight shift police officer. I always enjoyed BASIC programming and would like to exercise my old brain by playing with BASIC on those long, cold shifts when things are quiet.

I have PocketDOS installed and running but when I try to run SmallBASIC I get an error message regarding a missing file common to NT apps (my memory fails at the moment).

The question is what recommendations are there for a pocket DOS / Basic interpreter (and/or compiler) do you have for the Axim 51?

TIA

I thought there was a version of Basic4PPC that was free.

Snoop around in the "Developers Corner" forum (under "Business and Development" forum) and you can find other program recommendations, such as PPL.

I've done a little bit of browsing and these 2 look like the most promising, but both are more complicated than interpreter basic if for no other reason than they have to work with the windows-type user interface.
