early DST is p1ssing me off...

UG!!!

i just missed madtv becoause my computers clock was an hour behind!

and the worst part is, I cant change it! the reason being is that I am quad booting my computer (ubuntu 6.10 latest build for development, an older build of ubunu for development, ubuntu diagnostics, winxp) and so i will change the time in one os, and then boot in another and it will sync with its ntp server and change it back again!

early DST sucks!

Why not just set correct time in BIOS and disable any time syncing progs.

Just block the outbound port on your router.

Good luck with your problem, sorry, no answers for you.

The early change did confuse me this morning though. Made it through the real change okay a couple weeks ago. I looked at our main alarm clock when I woke this morning. It's one of those that sets itself using the government time signal. Not sure if the signal is off or the clock has the change dates hardwired, but it was an hour ahead this morning. Good thing it's a Sunday and not Monday...
