300 is a great movie full of visual effects and graphics which made it different and much better.
Acting was great, director did a wonderful job and chose great actors, full of action, and it is based on a true story.

Yes, I still have not seen it but want to! Its based on the battle Thermopylae. It's one of many great examples of civilized western man winning out when being outnumbered. Sort of like a greek version of the alamo.

Also a must see is "Zulu" with Micheal Caine!

1 post on 1 topic is hardly spam. Anybody else see this movie? My best bud loved the non-stop action but I just can't get my head around the graphic novel like effects(?) and lighting.

I saw the movie in imax at channelside in tampa

The BIG SCREEN was awesome.

The show and graphic novel was LOOSELY based on a real event, but there were some discrepencies compared to real history, mostly on the politics and cultures of the nations presented.

Of course none of that matters when you go to see an action movie... and it was great

Okay, I guess the non-stop action oart of my buds review is on the mark. Is there a "love interest" in this movie? I mean aside from the obvious buffed up dudes. I'm cool with that: I just don't skate that way. Every movie has to have a 'love interest" The public. god love them, demands it!
