I've seen this before on a linguistics research site. Interesting. It's not a problem for me to read it fairly quickly, but then I used to irritate the teachers when I'd read my books upside down just to annoy them.

Reminds me of that "Evelyn Wood Speed Reading" course I took back in H.S. I was able to get up to 1800 words-per-minute with 80% comprehension. Takes practice to do that but I'll bet the concept is similar.
