Palm Question (yea, yea yea, I know)

OK, I have a Palm question for you Palm folks out there. I want to put Kinoma movies (.pdb) onto my Palm without having to sync them through HotSync. Is there any way for me to be able to just copy it via my card reader or something?

Yea, I can use TCPMP, but it won't open AC3 audio which is what Kinoma uses. I'm using virtualdub now to encode my videos smaller

You could try putting them on a card, then using something like FileZ to copy those movies to main memory if necessary.

Note that the flavor of Kinoma I use on my T|C is Kinoma Player 4 EX, which doesn't use the proprietary format of older versions. It now plays standard video files like .mp4, .wmv(the ONLY Palm OS player right now to play .wmv!), .flv, and other standards. The main selling point for me was its ability to stream Google Video/YouTube effectively-something Opera Mobile CAN'T do.

To be specific and concise, I don't know much about old-school Kinoma because I haven't used it. Ever. Just TCPMP for Palm OS and KP4EX.

I have an outdated version Kinoma 3 EX, it's a little old, but I won't pay for it twice :)

Shouldn't version 3 support .mp4 files and the like as well? I thought the proprietary .pdb videos were version 2 and older.
