My dad died from complications from a stroke when I was 15, so I can sympathize with the "waiting." My thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

My 1st wife died of this form of cancer so I will pray for you and your family as I know first hand the awful toll this disease extracts on everyone. I hoped that by this point they would have had a break through with Pancreatic cancer but it appears that treatment has not progressed much with this one. May God bless you and yours.

There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said here several times over.
I'll spread the word to my family, prayers and thoughts can only help. I'm sorry for your impending loss :(

My father died of Pancratic cancer 6 years ago and my younger brother died last October of Pancreatic cancer and I had a nice hunk of my Pancreas taken out in Januaryof this year, so I know exactly what your going through. Pancreatic cancer is so terrible becuase by the time you know you have it, its almost always to late. Its not easy nor comfortable going through what your family is going through and you have my prayers and thoughts.

Sorry to hear about that. Last year, an engineering group in my area lost a mechanical engineer to breast cancer. I didn't even know her until after she died, and it was a very sad experience. In honor of her, a pink ribbon was taped to the front of one of the supercomputers (the 8 way Britney) that ran folding@home almost 24/7.
Let's make this the time to start folding as we all pray. After all, what if folding@home saved your life or the life of someone you know, or even someone you don't know?
