Vista HELP!, this is soooo annoying

Okay I blocked some programs from starting up from boot, and this stupid ANNOYING thing pops up every time and I have no idea how to stop it.

It's a reminder thing in the system tray(white box with text like lines) and it says windows has blocked some programs from starting and if I don't close it it'll continue to pop up that some programs have been stopped. DUH! STOP IT AWWWW!!!!!

lol anyways does anyone know how to stop it? I like vista but hate having to start up my computer everytime because it's so annoying.

PLEASE HELP

Microsoft didnt put a "Dont show this message again" checkbox in it? That sounds annoying.

Id try to help, but I'm still using xp, and prolly will until i xp gets so obsolete i am forced to upgrade. Hopefully by then they will get all the bugs works out.

It's actually not buggy at all, they've seemed to replace their bugs with annoyances. like this one and asking for permission to copy something(and a load of other stuff),....

It's okay though

Sounds like, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Was Vista an upgrade or a new PC?

Usin' XP Pro SP2 and think I'll stay awhile until bugs are eliminated or, I purchase a new PC.

Sounds like it more has to do with the programs you are blocking. Are you blocking them with MSConfig?

I have not had that issue come up yet.

That bugs me to, JMJ.
Vista seems a little heavy on this type of thing.

Call me crzay but i still have a pc that runs win 98se. Nothing i would ever use as my primary pc, b/c it cant do a lot but youd be suprized what an almost 10yr old pc can do. I can use flash drives, mp3 players on it fine (need drivers). It connects fine to my home's wifi, it can use firefox alright, and tcpmp for windows works great on it as an all-in-one media player for the old hardware, since tcpmp seems to have low demands.

I've got Vista but so far, I think it's a great OS and haven't had any problems with it.

have you blocked any programs from starting up and if so do you get that annoying pop up reminding you every time you boot up?

and hows your wmp? mine's running slow.

but yeah other than that vista has been a very pleasing experience

Sorry, I have to say it:

The best way to stop Vista from doing all that annoying stuff is to replace it with Linux!

Okay. Have you figured it out yet? If you click on the annoyance box, select run blocked program, it will bring up the system utility thingy. Check the box at the bottom that says don't show this again. Annoying ain't the half of it.

It does not matter what OS you have but if at boot (start up) something is loading and you blocked it to start you get problems. Vista loads drivers or libraries at an earlier stage than before (XP) and if it can not load the program that came with those drivers or libraries you get this message. Most of the time it is a seprate installed program. Try uninstalling it instead of disabeling at start up. That might help.

Succes!
