I used to use just Howard but then in celebreation of the year 2000 and coinciding with the deletion and required recreation of all accounts at a forum I used to visit I decided on Howard2k. The 2k part was really in jest more than anything, but I stuck with it.

first letter of first name...first 6 letters of my last name and 88. The first name/last name thing came from a computer camp i went to a few years ago, at about age ten, they ran a server that only let them use 7 character user names, so they used this system. The 88 is for two reasons. One is that on some websites, someone has already registered gsteinb. Also, gsteinb is kind of boring...anyway, 8 is my favorite number (because it has an S in it...something from around age 4) and gsteinb88 looks so much better than gsteinb8. Thats my member name. Chances are, on other websites, its me too (including AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, and MSN messengers, although i almost never sign on using that on AIM, and i rarely sign on on the rest, period).
