I am having an awful time in the Technical Support Portable Queue! It seems like it just hangs up on me or something, because nobody ever comes on and I get a loud tone....

Anybody know what is up?

I've figured out why they've been disconnecting me. They finally came on and said that a virus has infected their systems or something and that my account information is not accessable at this time!

EEHHHHHHHHH!

Same here. They were rude the time that I did talk to them. Also, My AXIM clears its memory and reboots when I take the main battery out for 5 minutes. The backup was full and then after 5 minutes it was totally cleared!!! This is outrageous. I have lost my data twice and I have reset the whole thing several times...

Any one else having this trouble. I have A04 which may be the problem. Hopefully dell will fix it.

Yeah, I finally got through, but the woman was foreign and English must not have been her native language, so I had trouble understanding her. Anyways she walked me through taking the battery out and waiting 5 minutes, and doing the soft and hard resets, and even though it didn't help, she was very friendly and helpful.

I've got an A04 and haven't had that problem...

Sounds like a candidate for an exchange to me..

Backup battery should keep it happy.

I have an A04 and the same problem. Took the main battery out with oo% charge on the back up and lost everything.

Should I go for an exchange?

I read what you guys said, so I tried pulling my main battery for 20 seconds. I put it back, and my backup battery was at 90% when I turned it back on. At that rate, I'd say the Axim probably couldn't hold data for more than a minute or two before dying. That's silly.

Thing is...it now says 100% charge...so I guess the backup is rechargable?

Okay, this time I tried pulling the main battery for 30 seconds...now my backup is at 70%. Crazy!

Except this time, it isn't going back up again, it's staying at 70%. Something tells me Dell didn't have their heads screwed on when they designed the backup system. A powerful capacitor would have been much better...and one that would at least sustain the memory for 5 minutes or so.

Re: My post above.

I took the main battery out with backup showing 100% charge. Had the main battery out maybe 2 minutes. When I re-inserted the main battery I had lost everything.
