This is my thread in the GPS Forums Now I think this may not a problem with software or at least The maping software. Anybody see this before?

I have loaded Mapopolis viewer on my Axim twice. Both times the main map is ok what I find are the sub screens like tools>Gps or Tools>ClearRoute ALL the buttons on the right side of the screen are over the edge and I can only see about half of the button. On the screen for GPS the start button is off the screen the longitude is off the screen the altitu< this is where the screen ends and I can no longer read the button. Any Ideas?? I just found another screen not even in Mapopolis, Terminal services client screen is off the right side. HELP

I have looked all over the Aximsite site and have not found any other Axim PPC owners with this problem I am sure its not the map program. I have upgraded the bios twice and am still in line for the 2003 PPC (Windows Mobil) Dell keeps taking the software off the shelf. Short of a hard reset I at the end of the trail! HELP!

Cool

When I loaded Tweaks2k2 and set the system text to "bold" I had the same problem. all i did was was set the sysetm text back to defult and everything was back to normal. So maybe the problem is in the text.

Hope this helps.

How do I check to see if the system text is default? I have checked in a few places but I can't find where the system text is. Can anyone help me here?

Well I waited for an answer to my problem but I guess no one had seen this problem. So I bit the bullet and started my Quest. I removed one program at a time to see if this problem was software. Display still off to the right of the screen(running off the screen) Then I did a hard reset installed one program at a time and cheked to see if the screen was ok, and everything is working fine. I think the addition of the rom updates (A03) may have been the problem. So my display is ok (no run off to the right) The GPS and map program works great, and all my other programs work fine. All that was needed was a hard reset and that was not as bad as I had thought it would be. Very good learning process.
