traveling

Okay, I just got back from Mt.Rushmore---then Yellowstone--then Grand Teton NP--- Colorado etc. What a blast! That part of the country is amazingly beautiful. The people were super nice too--- We had some car trouble in SD, but this mechanic Dan, was a great guy and hooked us up without ripping us off- Anyway, I'm glad to be back, I was jonesing for some internet and Aximsite- hope everyone has had as good a summer so far :)

Sounds like fun.

I was last in Wyoming over 20 years ago, but I've been to Colorado several times lately. My wife and I are going to Yellowstone and the Tetons next month. I can hardly wait.

okay-that's funny :)

I had never been to Ohio before this trip! (I live in NJ)-

v8sho- Will you camp when you go? - I could have stayed at Colter Bay (in the G.Tetons) for a month - I think that was my favorite spot.
Have a wonderful and safe trip when you go :)

I much prefer camping but this time we are flying up there so we will be staying indoors. (can't carry all of our gear) We will be in West Yellowstone for 4 nights and at Jackson Lake for 3 nights.

When we go to Colorado or Utah we drive my wife's Jeep and camp out at least half of the nights.

v8,

Better take some snowshoes! The picture below was taken early September 14 years ago just about 15 miles north of Yellowstone. ;)

We'll definitely be taking a range of clothing. Never know what weather you'll have.
