I'm sry this is off topic, but I figure somebody here might be able to help me. I have my Yahoo mail configured into Outlook 2000, with the yahoo ads turned on. I can receive mail just fine, but I can't send it? Is there anyway to get yahoo working, is there a setting I have to adjust. Thanxs:rolling:

And how did get yahoo-pop3 access working anyway ?

I typed pop.mail.yahoo.com in the pop3 text block and smtp.mail.yahoo.com, but smtp doesn't work only pop3. Like I said before I can receive mail,but not send it. Thanxs

Your outgoing server requires authentication

Under the email settings - select outgoing server - then check off ( my outgoing server requires authentication ). - Then select logon using ---- specify your logon and password.
