Comprehensive list of Free MS eBooks

Did anyone have the foresight to create a running list of the free eBooks for Microsoft Reader?

I’ve been downloading them each week, but it would be nice to have the descriptions of what they are about for reference.

I should have cut and pasted the contents from each week into a file, but that ship has sailed. Only the current promotion titles are available for viewing - MS will not provide info of previously offered titles.

If so, please share (i.e. descriptions, not books)

I put something together backfilling descriptions from amazon.com

I have downloaded 18 titles...dont know if i missed any to date.

umm what am I missing here? whats the use of a booklist if we can't download them?

You can download them...there are 3 different ones each week. But you have to check back every week to get the latest.

The point of the list is for those of us who have been downloading the 3 new titles each week...so we have more than just the titles (i.e. book descriptions) to review when we get a chance to choose one to read.

FYI -- If you are looking for free ebooks (and being current is not an issue) -- Project Gutenberg (Project Gutenberg) provides online text files of public domain books. There are a variety of tools (such as ReaderWorks from OverDrive) that will take a text file and convert it to a format that can be read via Microsoft Reader. Or you can use MobiPocket publisher to convert the books for reading using MobiPocket or Microsoft Reader.
