Well it is only one month till the 2003-04 Hockey Season begins so I thought I would start up a Fantast League here for Axim users.
If you are interested point your browser here to http://hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/hockey to join. League ID# is 13369 and the password is joshua. Live draft is scheduled for Saturday Sept 20 @ 1:25 pm CDT.
You do not have to be present for the draft. See the site for rules on how to prepare for the draft. I will be running the league via the yahoo site and my email address of john.cooch@comcast.net.

Think of you being a GM/Coach for an All Star team. You want the best players out there that have good stats. A good player might not be a good fantasy player.
Never understood the appeal of fantasy leagues. I wish you all luck. I really don't care enough about ANY sport to actually follow it well enough to bother with the kinds of statistics needed for a fantasy team.
Hockey is the sport I most enjoy watching. That said, there is an NHL team whose stadium is less than 20 miles from my house, and I don't even know the entire roster of IT, much less the rest of the NHL. And FORGET about minor leaguers.

I have heard it said that the death penalty is not enough of a deterrent.
I think that's because it takes too long to be carried out.
Cool....Just signed up. I've never played fantasy leagues before in any sport, but hockey is my favorite. Wish we had some (other than crap teams) here in Alabama, but I doubt that will ever happen. :p

Just thought I'd give this thread a bump, since the draft is tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'll be around at 1:30 tomorrow or not, as I have a lot of stuff going on this weekend. So hopefully the auto-draft will be my friend if I can't make it. :D

Looks like we are all set for the draft. Plenty of room for some more teams, so if you are into fantasies (and who isn't?) stop by and sign up tp play. Yahoo likes you to be 10 minutes early for the draft, and if you cannot be there you can always set up your auto draft. See ya tomorrow...
