I don't know what I did... Whenever I click "save picture as" and save a picture, it is always bmp:crooked: How do I make them save in a different format?

Doesn't it save in the format the the picture is? ie, a BMP on a web page will save as a bmp. A gif on a webpage will save as a .gif.

Go to the theme page and try snd save one of those. First click on the image and go to properties and verify what format the file is. Find one that is not BMP and try to save it and see what happens.

You're in luck Stevey. I just had the same problem about a month ago. It didn't matter what type of image (jpeg, gif, etc.), IE just wanted to save it as a BMP. Luckily, I found a KB article over at MSDN that documented this very problem.

Overview is that this problem is caused by some corrupt "Downloaded Program Files" in your "Temporary Internet Files." Just follow the instructions in that KB article, and you should be up and running again.

Thanks, but I already tossed back a few too many yesterday watching all the football games. :rolling:

Wasn't feeling so great last night, but up and running again now. Maybe I should keep up my tolerance during the off-season. Hehe...just kidding. :)
