wish I had come here before I bought my X5
My buddy and I each bought refurbished X5s at Computer Geeks for an amazingly low price. We were both moving to PPC from Handspring Visors. If we had known how much we were going to love the Axims we would have both bought top of the line models. If I had browsed AximSite before I bought I would have had a better idea of how great these gadgets really are. My Axim is far and away the best personal electronic device I have every owned.

this site was a large influence. I was between an ipaq and axim. Seeing this network (which was not being influenced financially by dell) have such positive things to say really helped. Now i have an rss feed on my yahoo and wait for the latest news. These forum's are the best. Please please keep up the great work!

i was sorta in the same boat. my clie was having problems recharging, so i bought a tungsten T5 but didn't really like it. i gave it to my wife after her handspring visor broke. i figured it was a good time to check out the pocket pc world. we have a dell account, so i only considered dell ppcs. i read about the x50v here -- everyone seemed thrilled with them -- so i bit the bullet and bought the x50v. i love it!! :approve:

Aximsite is really great. I just discovered the fix to my touchscreen not working. I loosened 2 screws and I'm back in business. Also, I found great help when attempting to get my wifi card to work. Thanks for a great resource!

Aximsite confirmed my buying decision firmly. Had I visited Aximsite before buying I would have doubted less. Great initiative.
Thanks!

I found Aximsite after placing my order but before receiving the unit. Aximsite has made a huge difference in how I use it though.

I don't remember how I found Aximsite, I just know how invaluable it is! Although I don't post all that often, I am constantly reading and researching in the Forum threads.
Thanks again Chris!

I found this site before I bought my x50v and the fact that it was just here made some impact on my decision. And this is my first venture into the PDA world. So, I'm thankful for all of your wonderfully brilliant, quick-witted, and honest posters.

This site, regardless of the answer to the question, is invaluable. Many thanks to Chris for having started it, and heck, why not support him with a Paypal donation. I just id. The next sticky threat we need is : hidden features of the X50(v). Not much is known , for example, on its connector port, how to ebable usb features on this devoice , what are he serial pin outs, the vga pin outs, etc. etc.
