I found this site while I was doing research to determine whether or not the Axim was a POS or not. This info on this site led me to the conclusion that the Axim was a very good buy even though it had some minor glitches.

Two thumbs up AXIMSITE!

After, yes it was helpful hearing from actual users/owners. Especially the Palm instructor turned Axim owner. I ordered today and am excited to try the windows format. My Palm Vx of 3+ years bit the floor last week. I did a lot of surfing before deciding to leave the OS format.

Received mine as a Christmas gift from Hubby. This is my first handheld and am learning more about it every day due to stumbling upon this site somehow (probably entered Axim in Google). Rest assured, Aximsite is the first bookmarked site on my pc! Thanks for a super helpful site!!

Cool

I ordered my Axim before finding this website, but I don't have it yet because Dell can't make the fast enough for the demand.
I've been a Palm dude for a long time but just got tired of it. I'm looking forward to my Axim, but for your research.... I clicked purchased before coming to your website on your survey only because I had already ordered it but it has been the interest in this website that makes me more excited about getting my toy. I'll be back again and again, I'm sure for ideas and what to do with it. I'm waiting patiently......:DEPRESSED

If it were not for
1. my stepping on my Handspring Visor and cracking the screen
AND
2. Dell's price
I would not have one in my hands now.
This is the forum to be in.

GREAT site.

I bought my Axim slightly before finding this site. Had I found this site first though, I would have bought it much sooner. Thank you for your time and effort in this site. It will bea great source of information for me. I can build electronics all day long. Working with the software end though, that's a different story. I need all the help I can get. :D

Chris,
I bought mine before and I surfed other boards. I saw a message from you on another board talking about your new site and I came here. I lurked for a month or two before I joined.

I bought my Axim quite by accident. I had already decided to purchase the Toshiba e740 when I started seeing a lot of activity on a new Pocket PC sold by Dell. I thought to myself what could possibly come out of Dell that I would like? Well, I took a look, was able to get stacked coupons and the $50 rebate and said wow! $120 off! The rest as they say is history. And by the way, I think this is the best users forum by far. Great bunch of helpful , intelligent and very friendly people.

Chris, thanks for your site. I've gained a wealth of information, not only about the Axim but about how to run it. It's been my home page for quite awhile now.

I bought my Axim back in November when they first came out. Then to kill time while I was waiting, I joined Chris's site. Hmmm. . . it was ALOT smaller back then. :D
