I bought my Ax prior to finding this site, however this is my home page. When i go surfing. i want to be informed and nothing is better than this site for Axims....believe me i have looked.

I have gotten rid of my laptop and only carry my Ax when traveling now. only wish this site could have a configuration for the Ax screen size.

Great Job Chris!!!

I would have never bought an Axim if it weren't for this site.
I was looking at the Toshiba e750 or Ipaq 5450.
This site made my decision easy. Nothing can replace this kind of support ! Features and support matter most to me and the Axim has the features and this site is the ultimate in support.

I was leaning heavily towards the Axim when I found this site. I was able to find answers to my remaining questions and made the leap.

This is indeed a great site. Keep it up!

I compared features and decided I would buy an Axim for my first PPC. After watching the pricing back in Feb. I saw a post on this site from one of the members passing on a 15% discount coupon that they were not going to use.
I ordered on the spot and have been very happy with both this site and the axim.
This site is truly unique when it comes to helping others with advice, passing on good buy tips, product reviews and the list goes on.

It is a good feeling whether you are the one getting or giving help.

Thanks Chris for all the effort you have put into making this what it is today.

I found this site after I order my AXIM - spent lots of time reading and finding things I hoped would help. They did too! Great site, I haven't asked too many questions because I have found many of them already here.

I am still considering purchasing the Dell Axim X5 400Mhz. I came across this board yesterday as i was doing research. There was a lot of information from other sites, but this forum is unbelieveable. I have a Handspring Treo 90 right now. But it looks like pocket pc is the way to go. Does anyone know about this particular company? www.priceisright.biz They have some refurbished Axim X5's right now. Or should I go straight to Dell??

I ordered my Axim after i found this site. I must say this site has influenced me strongly in making my decision.
I started looking at PPC/PDA after i saw a friends Sharp Zaurus. I almost bought it bcos of its Linux OS but realized that the battery life sucks. I am glad that i didn't buy that and that i bought Axim instead. This site helped in answering all my questions/apprehensions ..
I have had it for 2 weeks and am very happy with it.

Found the site after purchase. Have not found a need to look for info anywhere else. There are so many knowledgeable people posting that sometimes I get information overload. I have a hard time displaying my meager knowledge because others know more and/or post faster.

If this site doesn't convince anyone to buy Axim, nothing will.

Keep up the good work people! :D

Hey,

Here's an idea. Why not contact Dell and show them this site. Show them the results of the Poll and see if you can get some sponsorship sorted out.

I'm a marketing consultant and would be happy to help you out getting extra funding :P

This site made me sell my Toshiba E740 (and made a profit of £50) and Buy a Dell Axim :)

I bought my Ax prior to coming here but can honestly say that 95% of what I have learned about owning this thing has come from this site *alone*. Good people, good information, a good layout....it really is something special and you are to be highly commended for it....as well as thanked. Thank you!!!!

Just bought my Axim X5 after wavering between Axim and Ipaq, and between an Axim now or waiting for PPC 2003. The info on your site helped me decide to buy an Axim now. Thanks for a great site!

I was pretty much hellbent on getting an Axim from the start. You're site and all the friendly people helped me to decide which advanced I was gonna get. PXA250 or PXA255, I chose the 255. Thanks guys.

I was researching pda's vs laptops in Feb/March. I saw the axim on dell's site and thought it looked cool, but still unsure (maybe a palm would be better? I'd at least heard of those).

I found aximsite.com after doing a google search for axims and reviews for it. I looked around the site and saw all the neat stuff i could do with it - in addition to the usual pda things--schedules, appts, lists, etc. It was also cool that there was a support group for it on the web if i had questions (grin).

Although I really liked and trusted Dell anyway and saw other good reviews of the Axim, it was this site that really sold me.

Thru the forums and reviews, I have found all kinds of apps and any help I might need -- and some good laughs!

Thanks so much Chris!
