I just got vista Home premium on my new Insprion 1501. 2Ghz AMD 64bit dual core TL-60, 1 GB DDR2(soon to be 2 gb when I order from new egg), a 80 GB HDD, and a Radeon 1150(Seems good at the games I have tried anyway). I found Vista to be very pretty, and very intuiitive. I have found many features built into windows that made it a fairly simple out of the box thing. The aero is really ncie, and it gives off a strong vide. I have only been on for about 5 or 6 hours now, and have had problems playing CS:Source and Age of Mythology, but got Diablo II, Age of Empires, and F.E.A.R. I am really enjoying it so far, but if A game I wanted to play would not play I would be tissed off. I will upgrade to 2GB and get a copy of Halo 2 and report back in. My final rating 4.5 out of 5!

It makes an amazing 1st impression. :D

Yet it fails to make a lasting one on a average desktop. :p

Though personally I luv it on UMPC/Tablet devices.....
