I want to care 2 pocket pc's, bluetooth gps, wallet, phone and pack of cigarettes.
I don't like bag/backpack. Tried bellclip resently, but don't like it as well.

It all depends on where you are.

I live in Florida where even in winter you seldom need a jacket past 10:00 am (and you can still wear shorts), so to carry lots of gear you would need a bag of some kind.

In New Zealand, you could probably get by with some form of light jacket all year, if not a heavy one in summer. Scott e-vest is the thing for you.

Thanks. I will have a look at fleece jacket.
As about weather here in New Zealand - it is not hot at all. We have very short real summer - 2 weeks in February. All other time it is cold and very wet, raining every day.
It is winter now, today 12 C high and 1 C low. Brrrr.
And I am not in a coldest part of country.

I forgot to mention they had other jackets
SCOTTEVEST/SeV® - Gear Management Solutions™ - Jackets, Vests & Outerwear

It doesn't stay cold long in Georgia (either) or I would order one of their leather jackets. On the jacket, the sleeves are removable..... so it can also be worn as a vest....so I am able to wear it a little longer when the weather isn't quite as cold.

Here are some reviews (to get some more details)
Fleece jacket review SCOTTeVEST Tactical 4.0 System - High Tech Clothing Reviews by Mobile Tech Review
Microfleece Pullover review pocketnow.com - Reviews - SCOTTeVEST Microfleece Pullover

I was able to get mine when they had a really good sale (50% off). I was impressed with their attention to details....very well made.

I hope to get a microfleece pullover next. (Edit: I noticed they are on sale, so may order two, one for me and one for a Christmas gift for my son :) )

Susan,

As a woman, I don't like to buy men's clothing for myself because usually the sleeves and pants are always too long. Is that also the case for the SCOTTEVEST stuff?

Julie

I went to the closet and put it on for a second (too hot today to leave it on for very long :) ). Sleeves not too long on fleece jacket. (Sleeves have elastic at wrist). I got a medium and I am 5'5".

I can't vouch for the pants ... (but I have long legs...so they might be ok for me :) )

Julie, I've noticed that most women have short arms also... I suppose that might be a genetic trait... where men would need longer arms to fight and hunt/gather. The women with shorter arms would be most useful when holding babies, brushing their hair, and washing the dishes.

(don't hurt me) :)

You couldn't resist it, could you?

I may have short arms, but they are still long enough to reach through the internet and thump you upside the head....:)

It is a standing joke in my house. My wife is 5'9", I am 5'11". and she can barely reach the edge of the 2nd shelf of the kitchen cabinets.

She says I have orangutan arms
I say she has tyrannosaurus arms

Of course that plays into the old joke of why women have small feet... you can search for that one :)
