Yesterday I watched some football - live broadcast of Liverpool's match - but i wonder - are P2P tv programs legal? I mean the match was broadcasted over a tv channel (Setanta Sports 1) which is pre-paid channel I think, I have no idea how does it work, but it sounds fishy ...

Those channels are broadcast from china through a paid system and basically you are illegally accessing them.

As far as accessing TV from the internet, it would be nice if the free networks, FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc (I call them free, b/c you can receive them over-the-air for free), set up a live online broadcast.

Commercials and everything included, they could use the main feed of nyc like they do (used to do) on sattilite, instead of your local affiliate. That way people could watch TV stations from their computer, etc. And if they let you view them for free over-the-air, then why not let u view them for free online.
