Now Thomas.C.Boyle[ the C stands for Corraghesson] is one of the most humourous writers I have read, and his novel Water Music is a huge laugh out loud book, and I kind of identify with the main character Mungo Park.

Have you read it, it's like a guy who had faith in himself, and went for what he wanted, and everything went wrong! and he kept going!

Sorry, no image on Amazon, so I scanned it - just for you Guys & Girls :)
Agree that Animal Farm is superb, and Ralph Steadman's cartoons (which also feature in Hunter S. Thompson works I think) are great!

The no 1 book that changed my life for ever: The Bible!!!

16 books from Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye: The Left behind books. I am busy with no 11 (Armageddon) It is fantastic!!!

The following books by Francine Rivers are my favourites also: The Warrior, Unveiled, Unashamed, Unshaken, Unspoken and Unafraid. Not to mention A voice in the wind, An echo in the darkness and As sure as the dawn.

All of the books highly recommended to change your life: FOR EVER!!!

the NIV Bible has made the biggest impact in my life. I read once or twice a day - thanks to my x50v, I can compare NIV with the King James version and study a commentary at the same time!!

Apart from that, I enjoy history. I am reading about different lighthouses around the great lakes. Additionally Old Rail Fence Corners is a great book about life in the Frontier. Growing up, Call of the Wild, Tom Sawyer, and Dracula.

Its funny that a computer geek would actually be into history :)
