I understand that but how does this translate to legal trouble?
Is Engadget.com in legal trouble when they publish news on iPhone mods, PSP hacks, Xbox mods, .etc?
Chris?
Engadget has the DEEP DEEP pockets of AOL (Weblogs Inc) they can turn to in cases of cease and desists. I don't have the pockets to seek legal counsel to even determine if I have a leg to stand on.

Surely that would only become an operative point if you plan on contesting any potential cease-and-desist order?

I think we need to look at what has happened. I know for a fact that I have began interacting with many people on this site, I would of never had the chance to meet without it. I would like to call them friends. For this reason alone I enjoy coming to the site. Most of the people who post here are great, and I will keep coming as long as they are here.
I even enjoy seeing what new tirade W.A.B.A is off on.

Plenty of things/ reasons why the site is alive and well!:approve:
Aximsite is and always will only be as good as the posts, comments, tutorials etc. entered here by its members. I haven't posted here in months myself and feel partially responsible for any perceived decline this forum has experienced. My point is that we all play a part in keeping this place a worthwhile forum.

I don't mind change as long as I'm not around when it happens.

Those who complain that aximsite is dying, how many times have you posted under different categories or sections? Aximsite was combined with Mobilitysite because - as said - Axim is no longer being made. There are only a few new topics that can ever be started, anything else and everything else has already been discussed, nothing much that can be added to it, since axims are not changing anymore.
Now, we all use laptops, music players, cellphones, palms, etc.. And as mobilitysite it is right now, there are topics for everything. You can add news, start topics, post links to other news that you would like others to know about.
Complaining that aximsite is dying is not relevant, because , in reality, aximsite is DEAD. That's why Chris merged it with Mobilitysite. If I were Chris, I wouldn't even leave anything from Aximsite, just move all aximsite forums to Mobilitysite and have one blog for everything. That's it.
It is time to move on, and continue with all the users here into a new community.

Well, inevitably, without new people buying Axims and needing advice and tips, traffic on this site is going to diminish. However, there are still new software products being produced and updates to older software that Axim users own, so that for quite a while yet this site will be useful to me and you.
I'd bet that in future -- who can say how far in future? -- this site will transition to a SmartPhone site as people replace pure Pocket PCs with PC/phone hybrids.
I wish Dell had kept the Axim line alive while adding SmartPhone capabilities to future models. That would have been ideal.
