Im suprised ipods didnt come with fm from the beginging.

But, who needs a fm radio with 160gb of storage. Just load it up with songs, set it to play randomly and youve got yourself a radio station. Youll probably have more variety than those xm stations, and even broadcast stations tend to play the same songs after a while.

Something on the order of 100 ohms or higher.
You can also make an adapter containing two resistors to raise the total impedance above 100 ohms. You'll have to experiment to find the optimum value of the resistors.
