I loved the series and in true fan-boy style, I'll miss his writing.


There was a quote in the latest Southpark episode, where Kyle was explaining that in many cases the characters in our imagination are far more real and impact our lives in more ways than "real" people do.

i also will miss the writings of this man. i was put on to his "wheel of Time" series quite a few years ago now and even though i still havnt got past the 8th book it was one of the best reads i had . i think i read the first 6 books in a month !!!! .... the first time.... i had to wait for 7 and 8 but my life got sidetracked and i havnt read number 8. I think i will make time as a sign of respect.

I had just looked up info on ancestral memory because of Jack London's writings (especially star rover) and found mention of Jordan's writings. He apparently had something about wolves having a genetic memory. Weird how London wrote about wolves commonly. I have so many books I want to read but this is now on the list.
