The section of Ohio where I'm at is now under a winter storm. Supposedly we might get 3-6" of snow and possibly an inch or two of ice and/or sleet. At around 9am this morning I took the first picture of the snow just starting, followed by 9:15 and then 9:30.

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Some friends are coming over today, the wives and kids will be making cookies, and I volunteered to help the other guy with his resume. But at least I'll get to do some cookie and hot chocolate QA.:approve:

It snowed over night here in Chesterfield.

We have a huge hill in our backyard (that WE own) and when ever it snows, all the damn kids come to sled. They don't even ask permission. They liek to make noise, and help ruin the lawn.

Damn kids.

I hear ya, Breley! Winter weather . . . whatcha gonna do? We're headed out the door to a friend's Christmas party. The weather may play a factor here, too. It's so warm and muggy, we may all have to stay indoors in the A/C rather than outside in the slightly-too warm sunshine!

Snow? Jeez ... I'm still cleaning the pool! It's 81 degrees out there today!

We're supposed to be getting some nasty weather tonight, though ... the southern end of that Nor'Easter that's about to hammer some of you. We'll just get thunderstorms, rain and then some cold; but to us 40-degrees is COLD!

Yeah, its too bad its illegal to shot trespassers in Missouri.....

It's a pain too because the parents just let the kids run free, and don't even think to ask us if it's ok for their little sweetums to be trashing our hill and killing the grass....

Maybe this year I'll invest in a paintball gun or something.

We're on about our 3rd snow of the season. First one was a light dusting, then a good 3-4 inches. Now we have about 5 inches that's been here since the beginning of the week.

We are getting a few inches of the white stuff today. Last week we had an ice storm that canceled church, but this isn't supposed to be that bad.

We are staying in today, playing Wii and watching movies. Nice to have a day to kick back and relax :approve:

So far, 4 inches in upstate New York....how underwhelming. It better get worse today or the weathermen(persons) will be . (What's new?)

Not much snow in Eastern PA but, a number of ice events this fall.

Stock up on ice melt is good advice this season!
