He doesn't necessarily have to pay them does he? Sprint too? it's obviously a scam, I mean. Can't they just ignore the charges?
But $10,000 for texting, and he got her an unlimited plan... now that really bites.

A Canadian guy had internet for his mobile, and he thought he could use his laptop to access the internet through his mobile. He got charged something like $85,000 and he's complaining because nobody told him he couldn't do that lol... Honestly don't people ever read the fine print?

I absolutely hate those premium text services - they are ALL scams aimed at robbing ignorant people. Cell phone providers should block them by default.

It's definitely a scam, it's done with MMS as well, if you open one MMS they keep sending them to you and they charge premium prices for your viewing of the content. Mobile Spam is ever growing. Most of these messages will come from your service provider, whom we trust, Right

I was getting vulgar spam on my phone. Verizon was kind enought to tell me how to stop it and credit my account for the ones I got. There should be a special jail for spammers.
