I didnt pick buy a new screen at first... because you never know... the car could have messed up some of the jacks, or cracked something in there that you don't see the results of yet since you cant fully work it.

Did you pop the clutch while you were on top of it... you'de have the fastest axim here... I'm sure of it!

Yes, i do all my work myself. Its easy tuff. It wasn't a choice just because i thought it would make me look good, it was a viabe option.

In the end, i did both- I bought a new unit with complete care AND i repaired my old unit. Now i have two x50vs. I'm probably going to sell one so that i can have one last year of complete care or something. If not, i will be making it into a carputer or adding it into another of my projects

an as for overclocking, hehe, its a future project:). Just OCed my router,my NSLU is next, then VNCing my computer for my axim. I spent most of my time tricking out my axim to be a stand alone device. Its only fault is the fact that its WM2003SE and not 5

Spud, you actually... voted to buy a new axim. Heh, it's a public poll, you can see who voted for what.

I bought a new digitizer back when I had an x5, it stopped working and started doing crazy stuff, you know those flaws they had with their ppc screens.
