right now, as Chris reported, it's just rumor. But if they make one, I hope it's affordable and has third party apps, and is able to handle the workload. The current Windows based UMPCs can't keep up with one's workflow.

There's some stuff posted on the Boy Genius Report about the rumors. I guess it would be a souped up version of the Touch.

As long as we dont have to go throught the hype and commercials again, im fine with it.

yes they are going to make one it is expected to be announced at macworld in january.

I think they will make one, and though it may be announced at Macworld, the speculation I've heard is second or third quarter if it is done at all. I do definitely think it will be a souped-up version of the Touch, but I don't know that for a fact, so this is all just speculation based on what I've read on different blogs.
