I've seen a lot of prices starting to even out. That's just crazy, but I don't think it's typical.

I'm looking at a K10D and the B&H price is US$699.99 while the Henry's price is CAD$699.99.

Duwenbasden is comparing the same camera for CAD$1,999 to US$999.

Right now the CAD$ and the US$ are pretty much equal, so twice the price.

Looks like youll have to make a trip to the states.

There is actually many people, i live less than 30min from the Us/Ca border, that traveled into the us to shop b/c of the strong dollar recently. Many stores in CA were stuck with old stock when the dollar was weaker, so there products couldn't be lower priced immediately.

BTW, i listen to canadian radio a lot, so i get to hear all the CA news even though im in the us.

It goes the same at Apple Comupter for an Ipod touch 8Gb the Canadian price is $329.00 and The 16Gb is $449.00. The US site sells it at $299.00 and $399.00 respectively. I contacted Apple about this and so far not a word from them???? My questions were why is there such a difference? Why is the 16Gb $120 more over the 8Gb in Canada compare to only $100 in the US?

Apple have adjusted their pricing slightly, but you're right, still not even. I was at the book shop the other day and a customer asked about pricing parity and the sales girl has a prepared statement that they still needed to account for distribution costs etc. So even though the dollars might be "equal" the pricing in Canada may not be exactly the same.
