Simply amazing what a child can do isn't it?
I think it's all about the fear that people learn as they get older. Without fear, one can do almost anything!

Have seen this "baby swim" a number of times! Amazing!

With a backyard pool and the ocean yards away, I was swimming before
I can remember. A water bug from day one.
