They did add a today screen plug-in in the 2007 version, I think, although I never used it.

PI 8 has a today plug-in, and while it works, it's no match for PocketBreeze :)

I am very familiar with 2007, but as most new versions go, there's alot to learn, and un-learn!
Seems like PI 8 went with the "norm" (make it glossier/prettier, and users will overlook the bugs). Kind of like Vista :)
