Linked Image in Outlook

Hi guys,

Just a quick question to know if this is possible and how to proceed about this. I am trying to use a fully shared folder on the network where I will put images. Then I want to create a message and put the link image into the message. I want the users to open the message and see the image not the link to its location. I do not want to create an embedded image just the link view of the image. Is this possible and how do you do this. I have read many INternet page on this but didn't find a working solution yet.

Thanks,
Frenchy

No, it is not possible without:

a) embedding the image
b) hosting it in a public server
c) setting up that folder as an ftp server, or
d) if the recipient is on the same network and can access that folder.
