Hello all,

I'd just like to extend an invitation to all of you to get more involved.

This is a great site with many friendly and knowledgeable people.

As with any site of it's type the active membership ebbs and flows over time and it would be great to see more new people posting.
It seems that almost any question can be answered by using the search button, there really aren't many new questions on some subjects. But it would be nice if we could get more people answering the questions, or pointing people to where the answer is.

I freely admit that at times I read questions from people and know the answer but just don't have the time, or sometimes the energy, to answer a question that I know has been answered many times already. I know quite a few of the old regulars are feeling like me too, it's not about being snobby know it alls, it's about having other things take preference. Also, there are a growing number of new devices that have new and different problems. People that have those newer devices can help others by sharing their knowledge of what works for them, in exchange for the tips they have gathered from reading the site.

There are a large number of people here that post great answers tirelessly and for no other reason than they want to help. But I see daily that the visitors to the site averages around 1500 people. I know a lot of those people have the answers to a lot of other peoples question, I'd just like to see more of you registering and becoming part of a great community.

All I really want to say is, If you know the answer, don't be afraid to post it. Join in, get involved, and help continue all that this great site has to offer.
It's all about the members helping each other out and learning together.

I still check in every day but I'm not posting as much as I used to. I think all the Axim questions have been asked and answered (many times) and I don't know anything about WM6 or the new gadgets. I will probably upgrade my X51v at some point but it is still OK and is also my GPS.
Even P&R has been quiet lately. Perhaps we have solved all the worlds problems.

I am active on quite a few forums, and moderate elsewhere, too. I have to say that this has been a good site and I encourage you to register and participate here. It is a good group of folks for the most part here.

Seriously, I have been a member here for over 4 years and if joining scare you because you think that you will start to get more and more spamming on your email. This is not the case. I have the same email as when I started and there is more than 4 years ago.

heck, take it to the streets even. When I see a person with a moble device I tell them about mobilitysite, that is if I can remember to do so.
