My first true PDA was a Handspring Visor in about 1999. It was a good little PDA that paved the way for using expansion slots for added memory, data back-up etc. Prior to that I used a number of "organizers" put out by Sharp and Casio.

I don't mind change as long as I'm not around when it happens.

I got my first PDA about 4 years ago, in 2004. An IBM Workpad c500. It was a nice device, but I soon upgraded to my ill-fated X50 Mid, which broke after only a year, and I was PDA-less for a while until I got my X5 Advanced, and since then, I've purchased a Zire 71, and more recently, a Toshiba e335. I also have an iPaq 3650 that I got somewhere in there, I don't remember. And I'm currently on the hunt for something with WM5 or WM6. So, needless to say, I guess I'm hooked!
About five years ago I got a very simple Palm; used it a lot and through it discovered the greater functionality of the ppc. Bought my Axim just about two years ago and I'm completely hooked on it.
I've owned a PDA for five years now...starting first with the X5, then the X3i, the X30H and then finally the X50v. I've remained stagnant since the X50v, but I just haven't been able to find another device that can top it.
I have had palms for about 5 years now. I think the one I have right now is a Palm IIIc, yeah, thats it. A year ago I got a Sony Clie, I like it more than the palm, and thats what I use now.

It only hurt once, from beginning to end.
Peace means having a bigger stick then the other guy.
Loosing may do little to your credibility, but quitting will destroy it.
I started back in 2000 with a handspring visor. Since then I have an iPaq and now my x50v. If things work out, I am going to a ppc/cell this winter, but I will probebly hang onto my x50v as a backup.
