I sure wish all the links on aximesite wouldn't take you to mobilitysite. it's frustrating navigating and the sites are still unique from one another in that one is more news while the other more for getting help. just my opinion.

While we are on the topic of merger, what ever happened to aximsite mobile?

On my axim i can view the mobile version of aximsite.com, but when i go to view new posts it takes me to the full blown mobilitysite.

Seeing that the forums regardless of what site they are on use the same software, why cant there still be a mobile version.
It is mobilitysite afterall...

heybhouse, to the best of my knowledge, the only links that do that are,
the home button
and the mobilty site news posts, basically anything posted by News Boy.

Which ones are you having a problem with?


Spunker, What browser are you using?
You may have it set to "see your device as a desktop" it's somewhere in the settings.
I have no problem getting the mobile version on my X51v or X7500.
Sometimes I will change the settings in opera so I can view the whole site, but then I change it back again.

maybe it's my browser (safari on a mac) because i also can't stay loggin in. i still think it would be better to change the link to either the "aximsite" button or the "home" button to the home page for aximsite rather than both for mobilitysite; or is there another button i'm not seeing.

I don't think there is a front page for Aximsite anymore.

Where is it that you are trying to get to?

If you click on the Forums tab (two to the right of Home) then select forum home, it takes you to the full forum index.
Or select a more specific forum heading.

Click the New Posts button and it gives you a choice of new post filters.

If these links aren't working for you then, yes, I would say it's a browser issue.

Edit: I just tried Safari, on my XP machine, it's not giving me the same drop downs etc that you get in FireFox and IE.
I imagine it might need some plug ins to work properly.

Can you try running FireFox on your Mac and see if it is better.

Yes, but the old aximsite mobile worked fine with this hack.

Are you saying i have to set my user agent back to its default in order for it to work. If so, ill try it.

Switched my user agent so it would say that i am Windows CE and not Windows NT 5.1 and now i am typing this from mobile mobilitysite.

I left my IE version at 7.0 and this mobile site still works. That way i wont get rejected on other sites that think that pie is IE 4.0
