One thing that struck me today, why do we post here?
Initially, I was looking for info Axim related info, and over time that has changed,
Over time this has become a social site, So why do you post here, Daily?

Well, seriously it was to learn how to better use my Axim and related software, but then I got to know some of the posters and staff, experience different points of view without all the petty flaming and felt very comfortable here. In fact, one of the compelling reasons was when Frenchy publicly thanked me for helping someone with a linux question.
Truth be known, Aximsite / Mobilitysite was the first forum that I joined and participated in since my CompuServe days of yore, or the BBSes of way back when. I like being here so much that I wanted to help out with things on the site, and so here I am.:)

I agree, it's a very comfortable place to come to. I don't visit as often as I use to but I still check in every so often to see how things and people are doing.

When Aximsite and Mobilitysite were merged, I had hoped that it would take on the flavor of the new Smartphones but it doesn't seem to have done so.

I just got the Samsung Omnia and truly like it. I wish more of this and other new devices was being posted here.

Honestly, it's unfortunate how the site is being constantly bombed with spam these days.

Maybe a registration fee should be put into place. Like $5. Legit users will pay it, spammers probably won't.

i suppose it all started with ipaq hq looking for info and progs for my 3600 series ipaq then the 2210 and then the 4700 .... then when mobilitysite merged i met you lot.... well a few thousand posts later i consider most of you friends.... you know who you are..... besides i still like to help those i can if i know the answer.........
