To view, request or nominate awards (those medals that many members have in their forum profiles), simply go to the MobilitySite Awards Page. There you can see all the award types as well as who has been awarded a given award.
If members believe they have earned an award, this is also the page where you can click the Request/Nominate link to the right of a given award and fill in the requested information, and the appropriate staff members will review and present awards where appropriate.

Excellent idea for a sticky! :approve:
However, perhaps someone can shed some light on the reason that members can't nominate either a Member of the Month or Poster of the Month. Clearly, the Administrative staff should retain the right to accept or reject a nomination, but with all members able to nominate, perhaps more folk will get the recognition they deserve.
Perhaps there could be a submission request where people could submit a member for consideration to the admin/mods, then they could setup a poll to allow public or private voting.

as an addendum... the "thanks" button in the bottom right of every post might be able to be queried by some report and all people would need to do is "thank" the user.

I like this idea. It makes "poster/member of the month" less of a popularity contest and requires minimal administration.
