Customer Service in AUS
I was just wondering if anyone’s had any good experiences with the Australian Dell customer services. I ordered…well placed my order for an X5 and received an email acknowledging that order. I then did the bank transfer later that week but received no second conformation email, so basically so far have just given Dell money for nothing.
I sent off an email explaining that and I received one back saying my enquiry would be “channeled to qualified personnel” (hehe I just noticed they didn’t spell channelled correctly). I know I’m going to have to give them a call sometime soon, but after all I’ve read in these forums I don’t know if I have the time to deal with the bums.

I found Dell Oz quite helpful over the phone, however I didn't end up placing an order as they quoted me about $250 for the keyboard !
They are certainly better than Dell Thailand which has not, does not and will not answer customer sales enquiries. What I want to know is: If they only sell through your website, but won't talk to would-be customers, how on earth do they expect to sell anything ?? Incredible.

Absolutely useless, I bought my axim back in June and STILL its unuseable, thanks to the WM2003 probs.
Seems we in Australia are not worthy of a fix.
I call every week, and get told every week that its a week away.
Thats been going on for months.
I dont bother anymore.

Well this'll be fun then, they'll probably either be useless or charge me extra:p ...haha holy shit well i'll be.
I was typing that first part and then the door bell rang, went out and it was the damn delivery man with my PDA :D. That’s just fricken dodgy, I must have been an under the table customer or something, cause I got no word that it was coming, no customer number, nothing :rolling:. Well I must go see if it’s all there and if it works...you’ll hear from me whinging for things later no doubt.

I'm afraid now....
I just bought one of these Axim thingies and I live in hope that I will never need to call Dell again. Frighteningly poor. As I said within another thred, I think Dell Customer Service people are bred in a lab for this purpose only.
I'm sure Bill Gates is behind this somewhere, dammit....
Such is today's thought.

Ha I've had quite some bad experiences with coffee...having to go to the toilet every 20min isn't fun...anyhow yeah well I wouldn't be too afraid, when did you place your order? I did mine on the 20th of Sep and it's finally here now. (not that it theoretically should be :rolling: )
Just thinking if they're bred in a lab, someone needs to break in and sabotage their work, by making them work.
