Dell UK, crap service..if your ac adaptor fails, Dell doesnt keep any in stock..
My X5 ac adaptor went unserviceable, after nearly an hour on hold, got through to a Service Tech who promised a next day engineers visit. Got a call from same Tech later with a revised reference for the visit. Took a day of work to wait for the Engineer to get a call at 4.00pm on day of call, saying that Dell doesnt have any replacement ac adaptors and I would have to wait until a replacement could be sourced. They couldnt even guess a date that a replacement would be available.
Last firm I knew that didnt keep as basic an item as an ac adaptor was going out of business.
Tried to get hold of a customer service rep to deal with it, they all passed me around for nearly two hours until the call centre closed. Was directed to Finance, etc and when I finally demanded to be put through to complaints was put through to the automated order tracking number.
